Who are the instructors?

Atkins Learning Center Discussion Group moderators are subject-matter experts who really enjoy interacting with Discussion Group members. All Atkins Learning Center Discussion Group moderators are familiar with the Atkins principles of health and nutrition.

How do I ask the moderator a question?

The Atkins Learning Center Discussion Group moderator will be happy to answer your questions regarding health and nutrition topics. Please post your question to your Discussion Group so that your moderator can respond. You must be enrolled in a Discussion Group in order to read posts and participate in the Discussion Group. To access the Discussion Group:

• Click My Groups in the top navigation bar.
• If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to provide your e-mail address and password to log into the site.
• Click on the title of the Discussion Group you want to access.
• To post your question to the group, click Post New Topic and fill out the form.
• Once you have completed your message, click Preview to review your message before posting.
• If your message looks correct, click Post. To cancel your message, click Cancel.
• Your message will post to the Discussion Group for your moderator and fellow students to review.
• Moderators and other students review the Discussion Group often, so you should receive a response shortly after posting your question.
• If you specifically wish a moderator to answer your question, please start your subject header with the words For Moderator:.

How do I learn more about a specific Discussion Group?

The Discussion Group overview includes the key information about a specific Discussion Group, including the Discussion Group description, information about the moderator, and the start and end dates for all available Discussion Group sessions.

How do I access my Discussion Groups?

You may only access lessons for courses in which you are enrolled. To access the Discussion Group:

• Click My Groups in the top navigation bar.

I can't seem to access my Discussion Groups. What's wrong?

Check to make sure the Discussion Group you are attempting to access has actually started. The first lesson of each Discussion Group is available on the Discussion Group start date, and you can read and participate on the Discussion Group until the Discussion Group session ends. If the Discussion Group you wish to participate in has ended, check the home page of the Atkins Learning Center to enroll in another active Discussion Group. You can learn the start and end dates for each Discussion Group by clicking on a Discussion Group's title on the home page of the Atkins Learning Center.
